Desbridar

The term Desbridar (Spanish for “Debride”) comes from a process of surgical scrub for the removal of dead, damaged or infected tissue to improve the sanitation of the remaining tissue.The piece is a poetic crystallization of more than five years of research and interaction with the robotic devices developed by Post-Organic Bauplan, referring to the constant process of surgical scrub and somatic symbiosis.

Live performance: 40 min.Desbridar is a duo piece by Post-Organic Bauplan interacting alongside with robotic prosthesis, exploring and exhausting the possibilities of that long term interaction.
